We distribute insurance products to the largest e-commerce sites globally via a B2B platform called XCover which is a multi-line distribution platform for eCommerce partners, and BrightWrite, a data analytics platform sold to insurers that optimizes yield and mitigates risk for their B2B and D2C channels. We also own, the recognized leader in car rental insurance distribution globally.

Cover Genius are seeking a dynamic, driven Insurance Partnerships Manager to enhance and improve all of our insurance partnerships and underwriting capacity globally. You will report to our Head of Insurance and work closely with the Founders and Executive team to manage a portfolio of existing insurer relationships and forge new partnerships and underwriting deals for new product lines.

The role presents significant opportunities for the right candidate. We are looking for self-starters that are passionate about new technology and innovation, that have a “can do” attitude and who work well within startup environments where needs and roles can change quickly. Needless to say, we are not your average insurance company!





  • University degree in a related field such as Actuarial, Economics, Business or Law.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • 5+ years with an insurance underwriter or insurance broker with experience in underwriting, product development or broking large schemes across multiple global markets.
  • Proven track-record of developing insurance products or schemes.
  • Demonstrated experience running and managing a profitable performing insurance portfolio.
  • Strategic and tactical skills; must be able to create plans then roll up your sleeves and get things done.
  • Experience supporting cross functional teams such as claims, customer service and technology.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience working in different regulatory frameworks around the world.
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively with business development, sales and product to produce customer success.
  • Excellent people management and engagement skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
